Wanderlust, which explores the compression of travel experiences through the use of darkroom techniques and multiple exposures. The photos used in this project are sourced from my travels, specifically from the British coastline and the northernmost island. The aim of this project is to create a visual representation of my experiences by compressing multiple photos and integrating them into one image.

The use of multiple exposures serves to complete the translation of the photographic landscape, integrating the contents of multiple photos and the experience surrounding them into one. This compression and re-presentation of experience is achieved through experimentation with darkroom techniques, including photograms inspired by the connected rabbit holes on Shetland Island, which serves as a rhizome model in A Thousand Plateaus. Through this project, I hope to transform the landscape into an unreadable pictorial experience rather than a narrative image.
